hotel was ok as well as the room. location is good, a bit far from the beach (you need motorbike) but we didnt expect to stay at the beachfront
the furniture must be changed immediately, almost 2 old, no lift in the hotel we stayed on the 3rd floor.
Beach , PP island , shopping
Great staff better value resort if compare with another resort or guest house nice swimming pool , very good food we have dinner for menu set just 199 baht all bear very cheap just 49 baht for happy hour We will come back again Thank Seeka for our happy holoday
Our best hotel so far! This hotel was definitely the hotel were we got the best value during our two month trip! We stayed there during low season (May 28-June 1) and for a standard doubleroom we payed 700baht incl. breakfast. The staff was very nice and helpful! The rooms are very nice, but the bed is a bit hard. You have a TV with a lot of channels, safety box and a fridge. The breakfast was nice with coffee, juice, water, bacon, sausage, toast with jam, fresh fruit and eggs that you could order any way you like it. The hotel has a excellent shuttle service that runs to Patong Beach and Jungceylon(a big shoppingmall, really close to Bangla Road). When we were there it was four times a day, and when they dropped you off they always asked what time you wanted to go back wich was really nice! The hotel has a beautiful pool but it is not sunny during a lot of hours since it is between the buildings. The hotel has a spa with nice massage aswell and internet is available!
The restaurant at the hotel was quite expensive. We had lunch there one day and it was the most expensive meal we ever had! So after that we avoided eating at the hotel.
The staff was very friendly, they helped us with all the information we needed for getting around. It is not so far from the beach and it offers indeed free shuttle 5 times per day; we tried walking but there is no sidewalk, everybody is either driving or renting a motor bike. The rooms can be cleaned daily and the design of the hotel is great.
There is no bathtub although it appears in the room description from the internet.
Enjoyed a pleasant holiday at the hotel and all considered good value for money considering the price paid. The complimentary wi-fi, swimming pool and shuttle bus to the beach are very welcome and are good facilities. The breakfast choice and quality has improved since my last visit which is also good.As one might expect given the price paid, the rooms are fairly simply furnished but are clean and well maintained. All considered, good value for money. The staff at the hotel were all very kind, considerate and helpful.
Bed very hard in keeping with the basic furishings. However some people prefer a hard bed so perhaps an element of personal choice involved here. Also no hot water tap in the bathroom, only a cold tap over the sink. However, the shower does provide adequate amounts of hot/cold water.
The hotel is located the far end of Patong Beach and is about a 20min lazy stroll to the quieter end of the actual beach. The main shopping area, mall and the 'in'-famous Bangla road is about a 15min walk. However, there is a free hotel bus to and from the beach and centre of the town a few times a day and the hotel can arrange airport transfers for you for about 600bhat one way (£12 approx). If you are out in the evening need to get a tuk-tuk back to the hotel it will be around 200bhat within the Patong area (£4 approx) regardless of the distance but will be more for neighbouring areas E.G. Karon Beach. The staff at the hotel are genuinely truly lovely and helpful and the rooms are beautiful and clean with complimentary toiletries - best rooms are the deluxe with a pool view. The pool is narrow and 1.5 to about 2m deep and doesn't get lots of direct sun due to being in the centre of the building & the high walls but is sparkling clean and perfect for kids. The breakfast is simple but fresh and nice: toast, eggs, fruit, croissants, bacon, ham and either a noodle or rice dish. Great massage parlour opposite (Samai Massage). I would definitely stay again.
I think that for the price and if you don't mind a walk (the shortest walk to town isn't on the best road) there isn't really anything negative to say. I think some rooms were a bit stuffy but that could have been due to the season & not being used and that is all. Nothing bad to say.
Good value, the bathroom looks rather dated but functional and clean. Balcony overlooking the pool was nice , great restaurant (which was a surprise) and very helpful staff. About 10 minutes walk to the Junc Ceylon department store complex and a further 15 minutes walk to the beach. Renting a motorcycle might be a good option.
not being able to use amex credit card
comfortable and quite clean. Some staff are nice, but some are not that patient. Good value for money
more than 15 mins walk to reach Patong Beach. Not much transportation from Seeka to the beach. Free Shuttle bus in every 2 hours from 12 to 6 only.
The hotel was very clean and even that it was a bit far to walk, the mini bus was handy. The bus could have run a bit more frequent than it did.
The pool was not in a good location for sunbaking so there was never any one there to socialise with
convenient location, good staff, nice rooms
all the building work going in fact we could only stay one night
It is budget to stay in the hotel. It has free scheduled shuttle to the beach at 11:00, 1:00, 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00, The driver is very helpful and nice.
The location of the hotel is far away from the beach and city centre. You may need to walk about 20 minutues to the centre.
The location away from Patong Beach (quiet & secluded). The frontdesk people were very helpful, i.e. Faridah, Orawan, Dabud, Palait + the shuttle driver (don't know his name). The housekeeping did a good cleaning job + replenishing mineral bottled waters daily. Free shuttle to/from Patong (should provide to/from Jungceylon Shopping Centre too).
Bacon serves daily during breakfast but we Muslims can't consume them. Eventhough they serve different dishes everyday like sausages, noodles, porridge; we did not take as we were a bit skeptical of what the ingredients are. Although there are chicken/beef, we do not know how these are being slaughtered there. Not much choice though for us Muslims except to eat bread & eggs everyday (getting bored everyday!). When request for hot water to be sent to room, the restaurant told us to come down and get it ourselves. The hotel doesn't have baby pool. Building construction opposite our room (a bit noisy!).
